Eating disorders and physical multimorbidity in the English general population
CONCLUSION: Future longitudinal studies are warranted to understand potential causality and the underlying mechanisms in the association between eating disorder and multimorbidity, and whether addressing the identified potential mediators in people with eating disorders can reduce multimorbidity.PMID:37676625 | PMC:PMC10485116 | DOI:10.1007/s40519-023-01600-0 (Source: Eating and weight disorders : EWD)

Psychometric properties and factor structure of the diabetes eat ıng problem survey- revised (DEPS-R) among adults with type 1 diabetes mellitus
CONCLUSION: A short, self-administered diabetes-specific screening tool for disordered eating behavior is recommended be used routinely in the clinical care of adults with T1D, and Turkish version of DEPS-R has acceptable internal consistency and construct validity in adults with T1D.LEVEL OF EVIDENCE: Level V, descriptive study.CLINICALTRIALS: gov registration number NCT05346679/ 21.04.2022 (retrospectively registered).PMID:37665472 | PMC:PMC10477092 | DOI:10.1007/s40519-023-01602-y (Source: Eating and weight disorders : EWD)

Efficacy of educational interventions in adolescent population with feeding and eating disorders: a systematic review
CONCLUSION: The results indicate that educational interventions can influence the improvement of knowledge level and have a positive effect on health outcomes. Although education is a common practice in the treatment of these pathologies, high-quality studies were not identified. Thus, this review concludes that additional evidence is needed to evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs, with further research studies, especially randomized controlled trials, to confirm these results.LEVEL OF EVIDENCE: Level I: Systematic review.PMID:37608142 | PMC:PMC10444681 | DOI:10.1007/s40519-023-01594-9 (Source: Eating and weight disorders : EWD)
