A Closer Look at Bleach Baths: Evidence, Tub Size, and Instructions
Dilute sodium hypochlorite (bleach) baths have been used in routine care for many dermatologic conditions, namely atopic dermatitis. The benefits of bleach baths in reducing bacterial carriage have been well documented; however, the instructions often require subjective interpretation of bathtub size and may result in varying concentrations of bleach. Herein, we review the evidence for use of bleach baths and provide a method for ensuring that proper bleach concentrations are achieved.Dermatology (Source: Dermatology)

Efficacy of Photodynamic Therapy for the Treatment of Bowen ’s Disease: A Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials
Conclusions: This meta-analysis shows that photodynamic therapy can be used in the treatment of Bowen ’s disease with better efficacy, less recurrence, and better cosmetic outcomes than cryotherapy and 5-FU. Some methods, including ablative fractional CO2 laser, can be applied in combination with photodynamic therapy to improve efficacy. However, which laser-assisted photodynamic therapy scheme has the most advantages in the treatment of Bowen ’s disease warrants further exploration.Dermatology (Source: Dermatology)

Coronary Inflammation Assessed by Perivascular Fat Attenuation Index in Patients with Psoriasis: A Propensity Score-Matched Study
Conclusion: Patients with psoriasis have a higher atherosclerotic burden as quantified by CT-LeSc and less coronary inflammation as detected by perivascular FAI around the most proximal of the three major epicardial vessels. The usefulness of perivascular FAI for evaluating coronary inflammation in patients with chronic low-grade inflammatory disease such as psoriasis should be verified.Dermatology (Source: Dermatology)
