Computational Analysis of Gastric Canceromics Data to Identify Putative Biomarkers
CONCLUSION: The molecular basis of the illness is well understood by computational approaches, which also provide biomarkers for targeted cancer therapy. These putative biomarkers may be useful in the early detection of disease. This study also shows that in H. pylori infection in early-stage gastric cancer, the top 10 hub genes constitute an essential component of the epithelial cell signaling pathways. These genes can further contribute to the future development of effective biomarkers.PMID:37861003 | DOI:10.2174/0115680266259310230924190213 (Source: Current Topics in Medicinal Chemistry)

Finding Integrative Medication for Neuroblastoma and Glioblastoma through Zebrafish as A Model of Organism
Curr Top Med Chem. 2023 Oct 11. doi: 10.2174/0115680266252617231010070539. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTAs far as malignant tumors of the central nervous system are concerned, glioblastoma (GB) and neuroblastoma (NB) are the most prevalent, aggressive, and fatal forms in adult and pediatric populations, respectively. NB is the most prominent childhood extracranial compact neoplasm in pediatrics when the embryo develops from undifferentiated neural crest cells. Regarding malignant primary brain tumors, GB is the most lethal and difficult to treat. Currently, there are few effective treatments available for either condition...

Targeting Various Pathogenic Pathways for the Development of Antialzheimer's Drugs: An Update
Curr Top Med Chem. 2023 Oct 5. doi: 10.2174/0115680266274924231002110733. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTAlzheimer's disease (AD) has been recognized as the most important cause of dementia, which is estimated to contribute more than 2 trillion USD in medical costs. AD patients encounter progressive neurodegenerative dementia associated with behavioural, linguistic, and visuospatial deficits. Although studies on the discovery of amyloid β (Aβ) and tau (the essential elements of plaques and tangles in AD) have shed light on the molecular pathological processes of AD, the exact cause of the condition is still largely unknow...
