Making sense of complexity: A qualitative 'Framework' analysis of naturopathic case management and clinical reasoning
CONCLUSION: Naturopathic practitioners perceive they clinically embody the traditional holistic philosophy of naturopathy as a systems orientation, incorporating traditional and contemporary bioscience knowledge. This appears to shape a distinct naturopathic case management approach, oriented to working with patients in a complexity-informed manner.PMID:37247568 | DOI:10.1016/j.ctcp.2023.101773 (Source: Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice)

The relative activation of pelvic floor muscles during selected yoga poses
CONCLUSION: LA activation during locust was very high and sufficient for strength gains. LA activation during side angle, front plank, and side plank would be best for improving endurance and/or neuromuscular control of the PFM. Findings from this study showed differing levels of PFM activation across yoga poses that may benefit patients with pathology associated with PFM dysfunction.PMID:37247569 | DOI:10.1016/j.ctcp.2023.101768 (Source: Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice)

Effects of Pilates exercises on cardiorespiratory fitness: A systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSION: Pilates had a large effect on CRF, provided that it was administered for at least 1440 min (equivalent to 2x-week for three months or 3x-week for two months). However, due to the low quality of the evidence, these results should be interpreted with caution.PMID:37244080 | DOI:10.1016/j.ctcp.2023.101772 (Source: Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice)
