Electroacupuncture can Modify Stress, Low-Grade Inflammation in the Duodenum, and Damage to the Intestinal Barrier in Rats with Functional Dyspepsia through the CRF Signaling Pathway
CONCLUSION: EA has been shown to improve the stress state of FD rats, inhibit the activation of mast cells in the duodenum, and reduce low-grade inflammatory response and damage to the intestinal mucosal barrier. It is believed that EA achieves these effects by modulating the expression of CRF and its receptors in the brain-gut interaction pathway through the CRF signaling pathway. This provides a new approach to treating FD.PMID:38591200 | DOI:10.2174/0113862073306526240403063736 (Source: Combinatorial Chemistry and High Throughput Screening)

Nutriose, a Dextrin-based Natural Polysaccharide Polymer with Beneficial Activities as a Candidate for Future Drug Delivery: A Review
Comb Chem High Throughput Screen. 2024 Apr 5. doi: 10.2174/0113862073283113240329064552. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTNutriose is a dextrin-based soluble fiber prepared from starch. Cereals such as maize, wheat, and barley are the primary sources of nutrients for commercial production. Nutriose is resistant to digestion by human enzymes in the stomach and small intestine. It is mostly undamaged when it enters the colon after traveling through the digestive tract, where it generates shortchain fatty acids (SCFAs) as byproducts. These SCFAs, which include butyrate, propionate, and acetate, have a number of health advantages...

Exploring Type II Diabetes Inhibitors from Genus Daphne Plant-species: An Integrated Computational Study
CONCLUSION: Our analysis took us to the conclusion that daphnegiralin B4 (36) among all ligands comes out to be a lead compound having drug-like properties among 38 ligands being non-carcinogenic and non-cytotoxic which would benefit the medical community by providing significant drugs against diabetes. Pragmatic laboratory investigations identified a new precursor to open new doors for new drug discovery.PMID:38584562 | DOI:10.2174/0113862073262227231005074024 (Source: Combinatorial Chemistry and High Throughput Screening)

Comb Chem High Throughput Screen. 2024 Apr 4. doi: 10.2174/0113862073284975240324091848. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTAmines are important and valuable compounds widely used in the chemical industry to produce various products such as dyes, detergents, solvents, additives, pharmaceutical products, and anti-foam agents. A property that distinguishes primary amines from other compounds is their straightforward functionalization. Therefore, the synthesis of different amine compounds has been considered by many researchers in recent years. Usually, primary amines are produced via amination of alcohols, reductive amination, an...
