Buttocks Beautification 3D with Calcium Hydroxylapatite (Radiesse < sup > TM < /sup > ): An Individualized Approach to Diagnosing and Treating Contour, Sagging, and Cellulite of the Buttocks in Seven Cases
CONCLUSION: Highly satisfactory results were achieved in seven adult patients who were assessed and treated for the buttocks with CaHA using an individualized protocol. Prospective studies should be performed to corroborate our findings and optimize the use of Buttocks Beautification 3D as a reliable modality of treatment for this body area.PMID:37901152 | PMC:PMC10612506 | DOI:10.2147/CCID.S431391 (Source: Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology)

Promotion of Hair Regrowth in Androgenetic Alopecia with Supplemented Erzhi Wan: Exploring Its Mechanism Using Network Pharmacology and Molecular Docking
CONCLUSION: SEZW is effective in the treatment of AGA in a mouse model. Combined with network pharmacological analysis, the potential mechanisms, signaling pathways, and hub targets of SEZW in the treatment of AGA were identified, providing new ideas for further studies.PMID:37901149 | PMC:PMC10612515 | DOI:10.2147/CCID.S425295 (Source: Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology)

A Case of Perioral Dermatitis Successfully Treated with Abrocitinib
In this report, we present the case of a 26-year-old male patient with POD who was successfully treated using the Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor, abrocitinib. This treatment exhibited both good efficacy and safety. Abrocitinib, as a JAK inhibitor, holds promise as a potential therapy for cases of POD that might be resistant to conventional therapies.PMID:37901150 | PMC:PMC10612496 | DOI:10.2147/CCID.S433561 (Source: Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology)

Intralesional Axitinib Injection Mitigates Hypertrophic Scar by Inhibiting Angiogenesis Pathway: A Preliminary Study in a Rabbit Ear Model
CONCLUSION: Our study suggests that intralesional injection of axitinib can effectively attenuate HS by reducing angiogenesis in the rabbit ear model, and this inhibitory effect may be mediated by suppression of AKT/p70S6K signaling pathway. It indicates that axitinib may be a promising option for the treatment of HS in the future.PMID:37901151 | PMC:PMC10612514 | DOI:10.2147/CCID.S430852 (Source: Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology)

Eccrine Poroma with Concurrent Basal Cell Carcinoma: A Rare Combination
This report describes a 58-year-old woman who presented with left occipital plaque. Histopathological analysis showed that the tumor cells were located in the lower part of the epidermis. The tumor cells were cuboidal or circular basal-like cells of the same size. The surrounding cells were not arranged in a palisade shape. Scattered tumor clusters composed of basal-like cells were also seen in the dermis, staining basophilic, and the surrounding cells were arranged in a palisade pattern. Immunohistochemistry showed that BerEP4, epithelial membrane antigen EMA, carcinoembryonic antigen CEA, Bcl-2, CD10, CK7 were positive, ...

Recurrent Chemotherapy Treated Indeterminate Dendritic Cell Tumor: Case Report and Literature Review
We describe a case of a pathology diagnosed indeterminate dendritic cell tumor, which shows the presence of CD1a, S100, and CD68, but lack langerin. She was treated with multi-chemotherapy regimens used to treat lymphoma and gained good results short term but was easy to recur. In addition, we reviewed the literature on the effectiveness and safety of chemotherapy in IDCT patients.PMID:37881204 | PMC:PMC10596097 | DOI:10.2147/CCID.S429566 (Source: Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology)

Effectiveness of Biologics, Patient-Reported Outcomes, and Clinical Photography in a Subset of Patients with Moderate-to-Severe Psoriasis: Week 12 Results from the Psoriasis Study of Health Outcomes (PSoHO)
CONCLUSION: This subgroup analysis showed that anti-IL-17A biologics are effective at rapidly improving signs and symptoms of PsO and improving quality of life. Additionally, serial photography provided visual evidence of biologic treatment response over time.PMID:37881205 | PMC:PMC10595217 | DOI:10.2147/CCID.S426972 (Source: Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology)
