Objective analysis and clinical significance of the spatial tumor infiltrating lymphocyte patterns in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
CONCLUSIONS: Our results identified major challenges associated with the qualitative spatial TIL pattern evaluation. We devised a novel objective strategy to overcome some of these limitations that has strong biomarker potential.PMID:38127300 | DOI:10.1158/1078-0432.CCR-23-2457 (Source: Clinical Cancer Research)

Spatial gene expression profiling unveils immuno-oncogenic programs of NF1-associated peripheral nerve sheath tumor progression
CONCLUSIONS: If validated prospectively in future studies, these signatures may serve as molecular diagnostic tools to augment conventional histopathological diagnosis by identifying neurofibromas at high risk of undergoing malignant transformation, facilitating risk-adapted care.PMID:38127282 | DOI:10.1158/1078-0432.CCR-23-2548 (Source: Clinical Cancer Research)

A composite decision rule of CD8+ T cell density in tumor biopsies predicts efficacy in early-stage, immunotherapy trials
CONCLUSIONS: We propose that a composite score of CD8+ T cell density in paired biopsies taken before and on-treatment may be a new biomarker to inform on clinical outcomes in early immunotherapy clinical trials.PMID:38127293 | DOI:10.1158/1078-0432.CCR-23-1572 (Source: Clinical Cancer Research)
