This article analyzes the feasibility of implementing a program that monitors the hearing and language development in the first year of life. It is a prospective longitudinal study, in which 41 community health workers were invited to monitor, on a monthly basis, by means of a questionnaire validated earlier, the hearing and language of children born in their micro areas of expertise. This study looked into mortality due to medicinal drug poisoning by age, gender and intent among the population of the state of S ão Paulo. The adjusted time sequence of mortality due to drug poisoning was developed based on data available in the DATASUS Mortality Data System for 1996 to 2012. Postmarketing surveillance in Brazil: vascular catheters – an overview of notifications of adverse events and technical complaints
This article identifies, quantifies and categorizes adverse event notifications and technical complaints related to the use of vascular catheters, received by the Notivisa system in the period from January 2007 to June 2016. It is a descriptive, retrospective, documental study with a quantitative approach. Data requested and supplied by Anvisa were analyzed and presented in the form of charts and tables.
