Changes in muscle strength and risk of cardiovascular disease among middle-aged and older adults in China: Evidence from a prospective cohort study
CONCLUSIONS: The study found that muscle strength changes were associated with CVD risk. This suggests that continuous tracking of muscle status may be helpful in screening cardiovascular risk.PMID:38407330 | DOI:10.1097/CM9.0000000000002968 (Source: Chinese Medical Journal)

Electroacupuncture improves cognitive function in a rat model of mild traumatic brain injury by regulating the SIRT-1/PGC-1 α/mitochondrial pathway
CONCLUSION: The HFT-ACLR group showed better stability results, better PL, and higher return-to-sports rate compared to the LFT-ACLR group.PMID:38384159 | DOI:10.1097/CM9.0000000000003032 (Source: Chinese Medical Journal)

Personalized treatment of well-differentiated gastric neuroendocrine tumors based on clinicopathological classification and grading: A multicenter retrospective study
CONCLUSIONS: Individualized treatment strategies may reduce the risk of relapse after G-NET treatment. Long-term SSA therapy may be a secure and efficacious treatment option for type 1 G-NET with more than six lesions, and it substantially decreases the incidence of post-treatment recurrence.PMID:38384175 | DOI:10.1097/CM9.0000000000003029 (Source: Chinese Medical Journal)
