Integrin α6 as an invasiveness marker for hepatitis B viral X-driven hepatocellular carcinoma.

Long non-coding RNA TP73-AS1 sponges miR-194 to promote colorectal cancer cell proliferation, migration and invasion via up-regulating TGF α.

Overexpression of GBP1 predicts poor prognosis and promotes tumor growth in human glioblastoma multiforme.
CONCLUSION: This study provides new insights and evidences that high level expression of GBP1 is significantly correlated with progression and prognosis in GBMs. Furthermore, transfection of GBP1 revealed its regulation on migration and invasiveness of glioma cells, decreasing sensitivity of chemotherapeutic agent, shortening survival of tumor-bearing animals. Activation of PI3K/AKT is involved in TINAG-mediated promotion of proliferation, invasion and migration of hepatocellular carcinoma.

An eight-miRNA signature expression-based risk scoring system for prediction of survival in pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
CONCLUSIONS: The study proposes 8-miRNA expression-based risk scoring system to predict prognosis in pancreatic adenocarcinoma. New tumor and targeted molecular therapy were independent predictors of prognosis. MicroRNA-185 inhibits cell proliferation while promoting apoptosis and autophagy through negative regulation of TGF- β1/mTOR axis and HOXC6 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
CONCLUSION: Overall, the data show that miR-185 could negatively target HOXC6 to suppress cell proliferation, promotes apoptosis and autophagy through inhibiting TGF-β1/mTOR axis in NPC.
