Relationships among the Dosage of Erythropoiesis-Stimulating Agents, Erythropoietin Resistance Index, and Mortality in Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients
Conclusions: Our data suggested that ESA dosages #x3e;10,000.0 IU/week in the first 3 months constitute an independent predictor of all-cause mortality among Chinese MHD patients. Association of Serum Sclerostin Level, Coronary Artery Calcification, and Patient Outcomes in Maintenance Dialysis Patients
Conclusions: Sclerostin is significantly elevated in dialysis patients with CAC. But sclerostin is not a risk factor for CAC. After 5 years of follow-up, patients in the survival group are younger and have lower sclerostin levels and CAC scores. Extracorporeal Albumin Dialysis in Liver Failure with MARS and SPAD: A Randomized Crossover Trial
Conclusion: A simple-to-perform SPAD therapy with equal to MARS dialysate flow parameters provides the same efficacy in bilirubin and bile acid removal.
