Correlation between Combined Urinary Metal Exposure and Grip Strength under Three Statistical Models: A Cross-sectional Study in Rural Guangxi
CONCLUSION: In summary, this study suggests that combined exposure to metal mixtures is negatively associated with grip strength. Cu, Sr and As were negatively correlated with grip strength levels, and there were potential interactions between As and Mn and between Cu and Mn.PMID:38326717 | DOI:10.3967/bes2024.002 (Source: Biomedical and Environmental Sciences : BES)

Effects of Bisphenol A and Its Substitute, Bisphenol F, on the Gut Microbiota in Mice
CONCLUSION: Mice exposed to different BP analogs exhibited distinct gut bacterial community richness, composition, and related metabolic pathways. Considering the essential role of gut bacteria in maintaining intestinal homeostasis, our study highlights the intestinal toxicity of BPs in vertebrates.PMID:38326718 | DOI:10.3967/bes2024.003 (Source: Biomedical and Environmental Sciences : BES)

The Effect and Mechanism of < em > Fructus lycii < /em > on Improvement of Exercise Fatigue Using a Network Pharmacological Approach with < em > in vitro < /em > Experimental Verification
CONCLUSION: Fructus lycii might alleviate exercise fatigue through multiple components and pathways. Among these, quercetin appears to improve exercise fatigue by enhancing energy metabolism and reducing oxidative stress. The PI3K-AKT and MAPK signaling pathways also appear to play a role in this process.PMID:38326720 | DOI:10.3967/bes2024.005 (Source: Biomedical and Environmental Sciences : BES)
