Under ‐utilisation of high‐dose‐rate brachytherapy boost in men with intermediate‐high risk prostate cancer treated with external beam radiotherapy
ConclusionHigh‐dose‐rate brachytherapy is under‐utilised with EBRT in this contemporary population‐based cohort of Victorian men with CaP. The decline in HDR‐BT use was also observed nationally. (Source: Australasian Radiology)

Prevalence of non 18F ‐fluorodeoxyglucose‐avid incidental findings of clinical significance on whole body positron emission tomography/computed tomography: A review of 500 consecutive cases
ConclusionThe prevalence of incidental findings of clinical significance that do not accumulate FDG in PET/CT is not insignificant. Routine systematic review of the low‐dose CT is required to avoid missing potentially clinically important findings, in particular pleural effusions, vascular aneurysms and metastatic pulmonary nodules. Diagnostic imaging of ankle syndesmosis injuries: A general review
Summary Literature on the various techniques for imaging injuries to the ankle syndesmosis to determine the most appropriate imaging modality for diagnosing syndesmosis ligament disruption and instability was reviewed using the following data sources: Pubmed, Google scholar, SportsDiscus, E‐journals and PLOSone. Search terms used were: syndesmosis paired with injury, imaging, radiology, X‐ray, stress X‐ray, arthrography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine scan, CT scan, MRI and arthroscopy. Articles were selected by reading abstracts and the full article if indicated. Further articles were derived from the references of th...

Moderate hypofractionation for prostate cancer: A user's guide
Summary Three large randomised controlled trials have been published in the last year demonstrating the non‐inferiority of moderate hypofractionation compared to conventional fractionation for localised prostate cancer with respect to both disease control and late toxicity at 5 years. Furthermore, no clinically significant differences in patient‐reported outcomes have emerged. More mature follow‐up data are now also available from phase 2 studies confirming that moderate hypofractionation is associated with low rates of significant toxicity at 10 years. Moving forward it is likely that appropriate patient selection...
