Familial aggregation in Irritable Colon Syndrome in Mexican patients. A case-control study
CONCLUSION: SII has a familial recurrence pattern in the Mexican population. The disease is more frequent in first-degree relatives. It is important to elucidate the importance of the role that plays genetic background vs. the influence of the family environment in SII.PMID:37950999 | DOI:10.1016/j.aprim.2023.102794 (Source: Atencion Primaria)

Assessing patient satisfaction with telephone-based consultations before, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain
CONCLUSION: This questionnaire was a valid and reliable tool to assess the satisfaction of PC service users with telemedicine services. Perceptions of patient satisfaction decreased during COVID-19. Thus, TC seems to be a good option when the patients consider it to be a complementary rather than a substitute tool to follow-up their conditions.PMID:37924620 | DOI:10.1016/j.aprim.2023.102792 (Source: Atencion Primaria)

Screening for heart disease in kids and adolescents (Prevencar Program)
CONCLUSIONS: The screening allowed us to identify 1% of adolescents with heart disease and another 2% will remain in follow-up. The ECG detected more pathological cases than the questionnaire.PMID:37924621 | DOI:10.1016/j.aprim.2023.102782 (Source: Atencion Primaria)
