Evaluation of the Cutoff Point and Diagnostic Value of the Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio in Predicting Ovarian Cancer Compared to Pathological Findings
CONCLUSION: High NLR in combination with tumor markers including CA125, HE4 and CEA were associated with malignancy in patients with ovarian mass. IL-6 and IL-10 Levels in Rats Blood Plasma as Immune Responses Post Radioiodine (I-131) Administration
CONCLUSION: The highest increase in IL-6 and IL-10 levels occurred respectively in the first 0.5 hours 8 times and in the first 0.25 hours 1.47 times compared to controls. Internal irradiation with radioiodine resulted in a significant increase in immune cells in exposed blood plasma characterized by the production of the cytokines IL-6 and IL-10. Prognostic Values of CD8+, PARP, and EGFR on Overall Survival in Patients with Triple-Negative Breast Cancer
CONCLUSIONS: Patients with low CD8+, positive PARP, and positive EGFR expressions seem to be associated with poorer overall survival in TNBC. After approximately one year of follow-up, higher survival was observed in patients with high CD8+, negative PARP, and negative EGFR. Staging remains the main predictor of TNBC survival.
