CONCLUSIONS: The use of the portable ultrasound facilitated the quantitative characterization of the echocardiographic features of the studied population. Pressure control and treatment interact in the deterioration of incidental visuospatial memory in hypertensive patients
CONCLUSIONS: The visuospatial incidental/intentional scores were negatively correlated with systolic pressure. The efficiency in the visuospatial ability depends on the interaction of treatment and effective control of blood pressure. Epidemiology and outcomes of pediatric cardiac arrest in a cardiovascular unit at a public hospital in Argentina
CONCLUSIONS: 4.1% of patients presented CRA, with a rate of 3.4 CRA per 1,000 patient-days. Survival at hospital discharge (n = 50) was 46%. Resuscitation > 6 min and the use of vasoactive drugs were independent predictors of mortality.
