Expert consensus on the role of supplementation in obstetrics and gynecology using modified delphi method
ConclusionIn this work, a modified Delphi methodology was implemented to reach a consensus on the use of micronutrient supplementation in women of reproductive age. These recommendations can help clinicians in their practice, guide future research, and identify gaps in the market for the pharmaceutical industry. This clinical guidance can be extrapolated to similar communities. (Source: Archives of Gynecology and Obstetrics)

A comparison of the effects of oral dydrogesterone and levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine device on quality of life and sexual function in patients with abnormal uterine bleeding
ConclusionTotal FSFI score, as well as sexual desire, arousal, and lubrication scores, were significantly higher in the cyclic dydrogesterone group compared to the LNG-IUD group indicating that cyclic dydrogesterone has a more positive impact on sexual function when compared to LNG-IUD. APP-based treatment of urgency and mixed urinary incontinence in women: factors associated with long-term satisfaction
ConclusionApp-based treatment for UUI and MUI may be an alternative first-line treatment that is satisfactory to many women over the long-term. Furthermore, short-term treatment that focuses on improving the ability to endure urgency, and confidence in pelvic floor contraction ability, can also be recommended for long-term satisfaction. The interval between the onset of increased blood pressure and proteinuria in preeclampsia and the contributing factors
ConclusionNew-onset proteinuria was still the main parameter for identifying preeclampsia. The interval between increased blood pressure and proteinuria was probably related to the imbalance in the sFlt-1/VEGF ratio; therefore, we should pay attention to  monitor proteinuria during the prenatal visits, especially for patients with a lower frequency of prenatal visits, higher serum creatinine in the early trimester, earlier onset and higher diastolic blood pressure at the initial onset of increased blood pressure. Perinatal outcomes and long-term infectious morbidity of offspring born to mothers with familial Mediterranean fever
ConclusionMaternal FMF was found to be independently associated with long-term infection-related hospitalization of the offspring. This positive correlation may reflect an intra-uterine pro-inflammatory environment which may result in the offspring's long-term susceptibility to infection. Efficacy and safety of V-Loc ™ barbed sutures versus conventional suture techniques in gynecological surgery: a systematic review and meta-analysis
ConclusionThis meta-analysis indicates that V-Loc™ barbed sutures are safe and effective in gynecological surgeries as they reduce operation time, suture time, blood loss, infections, and surgical difficulty without increasing post-operative complications or length of stay compared to conventional sutures.
