Adaptive Functioning Among Older Adults: The Essence of Information Processing Speed in Executive Functioning
CONCLUSIONS: Results highlight the importance of information processing speed in understanding real-world implications of pathological and non-pathological cognitive aging. Information processing speed mediated all relationships between executive functioning and adaptive functioning. Further investigation is warranted into the importance of processing speed in explaining associations of other cognitive domains with adaptive functioning.PMID:37114743 | DOI:10.1093/arclin/acad031 (Source: Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology)

Psychological Correlates of Self-Rated Resilience in the Context of Subjective Cognitive Concerns in Older Adults
CONCLUSIONS: Self-rated resilience, as measured by the CD-RISC-10, is primarily related to subjective well-being and does not inform sufficiently about relative risk for cognitive dysfunction in older adults.PMID:37114856 | DOI:10.1093/arclin/acad033 (Source: Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology)
