Rectal versus intravenous administration of acetaminophen; Clinical investigation of plasma level, analgesic, and antipyretic effects on 6-month to 6-year-old children in Zabol city, Iran
CONCLUSIONS: IV acetaminophen has more rapid onset of action, while rectal dosage form control fever and pain for longer duration. Considering its favorable effects with ease of administration and lower cost, rectal acetaminophen can be a reasonable option in selected patients with pain or fever.PMID:38759885 | DOI:10.1016/j.pharma.2024.05.003 (Source: Annales Pharmaceutiques Francaises)

Development, optimization and validation of an analytical method for the determination of Voriconazole in plasma by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography-Ultraviolet detection: Application for comprehensive Study
CONCLUSION: The developed method was proved to be simple, efficient, that requires minimal sample preparation. Thus it can be routinely applied for the therapeutic monitoring of voriconazole.PMID:38729517 | DOI:10.1016/j.pharma.2024.05.002 (Source: Annales Pharmaceutiques Francaises)

Comprehensive Medication Management (CMM): Application of a new pharmaceutical practice in Onco-Hematology
Ann Pharm Fr. 2024 May 8:S0003-4509(24)00068-3. doi: 10.1016/j.pharma.2024.05.001. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTThe integration of a large number of drugs, such as antineoplastic agents and cancer-related supportive care drugs, into the management of cancer patients exposes them to an increased number of drug-related problems (DRP). Clinical pharmacists contribute to drug management by actively intervening in detected DRP. The aim of this study is to assess the impact of the applying a clinical pharmacist-driven Comprehensive Medication Management (CMM) service to Onco-hematology patients. This prospective interventional ...
