First evidence of anti-VEGF efficacy in an adult case of adamantinomatous craniopharyngioma: case report and illustrative review
CONCLUSIONS: To the best of our knowledge, our case is the first in the literature in which targeted therapy using anti-VEGF was successfully used as a single agent to treat adamantinomatous craniopharyngioma, with favorable outcome in terms of tumor shrinkage and clinical improvement. These preliminary results may open new perspectives for the management of adamantinomatous craniopharyngioma.
