Nurses and prescribers' choice of an electric syringe pump protocol for intravenous heparin administration
CONCLUSIONS: The consultation of nurses and prescribers allowed the choice of a protocol with very strong agreement. This work also brought to light what appears to be a medical misconception, namely that the non-concerted choice by physicians of a mode of administration of a drug can put nurses in a situation to make preparation errors more frequently. Rythmology activity in France and consequences of new thresholds approvals
CONCLUSIONS: This work showed that immediat and systematic application of new threshold could be threatening for 1/4 of A center and 1/5 of B or C center. Rare case of incomplete Shone syndrome in adult man with marfanoid morphotype
We describe here, the case of a 35-year-old man, hospitalized for chronic dyspnea and in whom, the diagnosis of incomplete Shone's complex is retained by echocardiographic analysis. Observed lesions include a parachute mitral valve responsible for mild regurgitation and moderate mitral stenosis, bicuspid aortic valve, and pseudo interruption of the aorta with dilatation of the ascending aorta and a patent ductus arteriosus. Giant left ventricle cardiac hydatid cyst : report of a challenging case
We present the case of a patient with a history of pulmonary hydatid cysts who presented with atypical chest pain with a huge hydatid cyst of the anterior and lateral wall of the left ventricle of 80/66 mm in diameter responsible of a thinning of the wall of the left ventricle and close relationship with the anterior descending artery and the circumflex artery.
