Impact of training schoolchildren how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation using stories and animated cartoons
CONCLUSIONS: Using non-technological educational resources, e.g., stories and animated cartoons for teaching CPR to primary school students, increases their knowledge and skills. Schoolchildren trained in the educational environment acquired more knowledge and skills than those trained by parents. Within the family environment, CPR teaching was more effective through one story and one cartoon video than when only the story was used.PMID:38153136 | DOI:10.23938/ASSN.1061 (Source: Anales del Sistema Sanitario de Navarra)

Nirmatrelvir/ritonavir drug-drug interactions in primary care outpatients
CONCLUSIONS: Our search of potential drug interactions and subsequent dose adjustments and modifications of the patient's usual treatment has helped avoid potential toxicities ensuring a safe use of nirmatrelvir/ritonavir.PMID:38146944 | DOI:10.23938/ASSN.1056 (Source: Anales del Sistema Sanitario de Navarra)

Series of patients operated for masses and cysts in the heart in a Spanish general hospital: A 20-year experience
CONCLUSIONS: We describe the features of masses and cysts in the heart (77% female patients) and provide information scarcely available in the literature, e.g., the most frequent cardiovascular risk factors for this population. A case of cardiac leiomyosarcoma and a case of intimal sarcoma of the pulmonary trunk are described, two extremely rare tumors for which there are few described cases.PMID:38146947 | DOI:10.23938/ASSN.1060 (Source: Anales del Sistema Sanitario de Navarra)

Treatment and cost relationship on visual acuity improvement in age-associated macular degeneration
CONCLUSION: AntiVEGF treatments (ranibizumab, aflibercept and both) maintained VA in patients with exudative AMD. In general, care and treatment costs were lower in the group that received both drugs.PMID:38009288 | DOI:10.23938/ASSN.1052 (Source: Anales del Sistema Sanitario de Navarra)
