Concordant care in sentinel lymph node omission following Choosing Wisely ® recommendations at a comprehensive cancer center

Pandemic impact: Decline in endocrine operations hits vulnerable populations harder
The Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID19) pandemic brought an unprecedented upheaval of global health systems due to high patient volumes as well as equipment and staffing shortages caused by supply chain disruption and provider infection and burnout. To address demands under these conditions, U.S. hospitals diverted resources from operating rooms, which resulted in delays or cancelations of elective surgical procedures.
