Twenty-five-Year Follow-up of a Prospective Randomized Trial Comparing Preoperative Versus Postoperative FLAC/Granulocyte Colony–Stimulating Factor Chemotherapy for Stage II Breast Cancer
Conclusion: Twenty-five-year follow-up for this prospective randomized trial confirms the equivalency of preoperative versus postoperative chemotherapy with fluorouracil, leucovorin calcium, doxorubicin, and cyclophosphamides/granulocyte colony–stimulating factor for stage II breast cancer for both RFS and OS. Locoregional Therapy Protocols With and Without Radioembolization for Hepatocellular Carcinoma as Bridge to Liver Transplantation
Conclusions: Despite requiring fewer LRT treatments, there was significantly less mVI in the explants of patients treated with TARE protocol LRT as a bridge to LT as well as a trend toward improved 3-year survival. Therefore, TARE may be associated with improved tumor control and reduced post-LT recurrence. (Source: American Journal of Clinical Oncology)

Determining Optimal Follow-up for Patients With Anal Cancer Following Chemoradiation
Conclusion: With the majority of recurrences/toxicities occurring within the first 2 years, a reduction in follow-up during years 3 to 5 may provide adequate surveillance. Revisions of the current recommendations could maximize resources while improving patient quality of life. (Source: American Journal of Clinical Oncology)

Patterns of Care for Stage II-III Rectosigmoid Cancers in the United States, 2004-2015
Objectives: Although current guidelines continue to recommend trimodality therapy for stage II to III rectal cancers, a lower incidence of local recurrence has been observed in patients with upper rectal tumors, including those in the rectosigmoid. In practice, patients with upper rectal tumors may not be receiving all 3 modalities of therapy. Patterns of care for patients with rectosigmoid cancers have not previously been described. Methods: The National Cancer Database (NCDB) was used to identify patients diagnosed with stage II to III rectosigmoid cancer who underwent definitive surgery between 2004 and 2015. Multi...
