Favorite colors of patients with drug-resistant epilepsy: pilot study
AbstractObjectiveTo evaluate the favorite colors of patients with drug-resistant epilepsy.MethodsFollowing examination, 50 patients were diagnosed in accordance with the 2005 proposal of the International League Against Epilepsy and the definition of drugresistant epilepsy since 2010. The favorite color examination used a six-color tape and Trycolors, an online color mixing tool. The patients' color preferences were compared with those of 50 individuals without epilepsy.ResultsPatients with drug-resistant epilepsy preferred the color blue the most (30%), significantly more yellow (p  = 0.0001), and significantly less g...

Edaravone for patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis: a systematic review and meta-analysis
ConclusionDue to the limited number of studies and confounding issues in observational studies, further examination of the added benefits of edaravone to routine practice is necessary through RCTs, particularly regarding its long-term efficacy. (Source: Acta Neurologica Belgica)

Priming constraint-induced movement therapy with intermittent theta burst stimulation to enhance upper extremity recovery in patients with stroke: protocol for a randomized controlled study
ConclusionsIn this study, a protocol of an ongoing intervention study investigating the effectiveness of iTBS on ipsilesional M1 prior to the mCIMT in patients with stroke is proposed. This will be the first study to research priming mCIMT with iTBS and it may have the potential to reveal the true effect of the iTBS when it is added to the high-quality neurorehabilitation approaches.Trial registrationTrial registration number: NCT05308667 (Source: Acta Neurologica Belgica)

Clinical management of contrast-induced neurotoxicity: a systematic review
ConclusionsThe clinical management of CIN should be considered on a patient-by-patient basis, but may consist of aggressive fluid therapy alongside corticosteroids, as well as other supportive therapy as required. Further examination of CIN management is required to define best practice. (Source: Acta Neurologica Belgica)
