Post-stroke Chinese pure alexia: linguistic features and neuropsychological profiles
ConclusionShape-similar errors may be a characteristic of Chinese pure alexia. The correlation between visuospatial dysfunction and pure alexia might explain the frequent occurrence of shape-similar errors in Chinese pure alexia. (Source: Acta Neurologica Belgica)

Evaluation of the contralateral hemisphere with DWI in pediatric patients with Dyke –Davidoff–Masson syndrome
ConclusionThe difference in the ADC values of the contralateral hemisphere between females and males in the patient group suggests that the normal-appearing hemisphere may have been affected by DDMS. Although, the exact mechanism of this effect is not known. Therefore, in patients with DDMS, contralateral hemisphere involvement in cerebral hemiatrophy and hemispherectomy should be evaluated clinically and radiologically. Favorite colors of patients with drug-resistant epilepsy: pilot study
AbstractObjectiveTo evaluate the favorite colors of patients with drug-resistant epilepsy.MethodsFollowing examination, 50 patients were diagnosed in accordance with the 2005 proposal of the International League Against Epilepsy and the definition of drugresistant epilepsy since 2010. The favorite color examination used a six-color tape and Trycolors, an online color mixing tool. The patients' color preferences were compared with those of 50 individuals without epilepsy.ResultsPatients with drug-resistant epilepsy preferred the color blue the most (30%), significantly more yellow (p  = 0.0001), and significantly less g...

Priming constraint-induced movement therapy with intermittent theta burst stimulation to enhance upper extremity recovery in patients with stroke: protocol for a randomized controlled study
ConclusionsIn this study, a protocol of an ongoing intervention study investigating the effectiveness of iTBS on ipsilesional M1 prior to the mCIMT in patients with stroke is proposed. This will be the first study to research priming mCIMT with iTBS and it may have the potential to reveal the true effect of the iTBS when it is added to the high-quality neurorehabilitation approaches.Trial registrationTrial registration number: NCT05308667 (Source: Acta Neurologica Belgica)
