Hackensack University-Envision or Private Practice
Hi All, Looking at jobs in Northern NJ and found these two listings. Looks like both are at Hackensack, but one is for Envision and the other seems to be a private practice or hospital group. Does anyone have insight into the practice there? Is Envision being forced out or are there two groups practicing there simultaneously similar to NAPA and NSLIJ? Is there a chance the group is being brought in house by the hospital? Thanks in advance! GasWork.com - Reference #297230 Reference #297230 www.gaswork.com ... Rea...

Remote Data Verification
I currently work in retail pharmacy and don't know how much longer I can survive. The pay is good but the stress, lack of respect and effect it has on my personal life can not be discounted. I recently had COVID and was forced to stay home for 10 days. It was the longest I had been off work in years and it was glorious lol. I thought, "Wow, is this what working remote from home could be like?" I started applying for random remote jobs and stumbled upon some that were described as a remote... Job listing
Hi all, very early in process of looking at jobs/learning about what to look for. Came across this one, can someone explain what the catch might be? Other than it being in a "less than desireable" area (alabame is cool in my opinion). (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Etiquette on Switching Jobs
Hi all, I recently started a clinical job as an early career licensed psychologist that is going well. Still, I see burnout in my future due to the high caseload and lack of opportunities to move up from a purely clinical role. Other jobs have opened via word of mouth with significantly better pay and maybe a better caseload. I am considering applying but feel conflicted as I only have a few months in my current role. I have never left any job before one year. If I go, I am worried about... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

ChatGPT
What do you all think? Apparently as my college everyone from the President on down is trying to figure out how this impacts education. Informal student polling is showing a majority of students have used it at this point. In addition to writing papers, it can even correctly answer multiuple choice questions. In a recent meeting a STEM colleague also made a comment about AI taking away therapists jobs in the coming years. I chuckled. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

USMD student (US citizen) interested in practicing in Canada after residency - should I take MCCQEs now?
I'm a third year MD student, US citizen, looking to practice in Canada (maybe Ontario) after completing residency and fellowship in the US. As a US citizen, I know CARMS is out of the question, so I have to do NRMP / residency + fellowship in the US first. My question is, should I take MCCQEs or not? Are there any pros / cons that are substantially different between these 2 options? Option 1: take MCCQEs around the time of my USMLEs -> receive LMCC, look for jobs in Canada after... Clinic Telepsych Company Recommendations 2023
Hey all, PGY-4 here looking at telepsych (clinic) jobs and was wondering if anyone has recommendations? Would love to hear about people's experiences, either from interviews or working at the various companies. There's a ton of options out there and it's hard to figure out where to start and what to look for in a company. I have a few questions that could help jump start the thread: 1) What is considered fair compensation? 2) For full time, are benefits / malpractice generally included? 3)... Telemoonlighting Jobs
Hi everyone, I'm a PGY-3 that is going to start fellowship in C&A in July. My program is going to allow moonlighting on day one and I was hoping to have some opportunities lined up beforehand. If anyone here can provide tele moonlighting jobs or resources where I could find such jobs I would really appreciate it. I did already try a job search on Indeed and other popular websites without much success. I'm going to be in Texas if that matters. Best regards, MrFlyGuy (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Experiences to include on VMCAS?
Hello! I'm just starting to fill out the VMCAS for the c/o 2028 cycle to kind of see where I stand. I'm just not completely sure what experiences to include? I have some pretty obvious major ones like jobs and multi-year volunteer projects but I'm torn on whether to include a smattering of 10-20 hour volunteer jobs / shadowing gigs, or extracurricular activities not related to vet med. Is it better to put everything on there or only the most important? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Disadvantages of Non-ACGME Accredited Pain Programs
Did a search and the thread was from 6.5 years ago; wanted to see if anything has changed. I just mainly wanted to know what the disadvantages are if you do a non-ACGME accredited pain fellowship; mainly if reimbursements are different, diff in hospital or practice privileges, findings jobs, etc. Also, if a non-ACGME trained pain physician wants to start a practice, is it the same process or are there many more hoops to jump through? Thanks! (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Psych to PCP practice
So I am hoping if the moonlighters around can tell me how this works. I am applying for primary care jobs working with recruiters, and trying to explain how 2 years of psych is enough to have a license and apply fro primary care jobs. Obviously my situation is a little unusual as I don't have a diploma or anything, although I have patient reviews and kept a case log with signatures. I heard there is another type of boards that I could try or take the addiction boards exam???? (Source: Student Doctor Network)
