Telepsychiatry gigs in 2023
What's a reasonable rate for 100% telepsychiatry jobs these days and workload? I've looked at Cerebral, Talkiatry, Iris and one other that covers mostly ED work. Seems like $150 to $200 / hr is what's floating around, some offer benefits if full-time. They seem to keep you busy. NICU academic positions & research requirements
Hi all,
I have a question about faculty positions and research requirements in neonatology. I'm finishing up my 2nd year of fellowship so starting to think about jobs.
Basically, are there academic positions out there where you can focus solely on clinical service and bedside teaching? Plus maybe being a part of some committees?
I enjoy research but don't necessarily feel the need to make it a huge part of my career, and definitely don't see myself being someone who spends the majority...

Is it happening?
What will job options be like if NPs and PAs take over chiropody?
Although we are trained too long for chiropody it does provide jobs (even if a plan B) in a saturated job market.
Does our license allow us to have PAs and NPs under us doing this? I imagine not in most states.
People claim NPs and PAs will not take these jobs, but if they do will podiatry have negative job growth?

Transitioning from hospitalist back to primary care. Help!
Hey all,
I'm working on transitioning back to primary care after 2-3 years of adult hospitalist work after residency. I'm a little out of touch with key things to look for (or avoid) in primary care jobs and was hoping to get some feedback; I'm seeking 4-4.5 day work week no ob +/- peds. I'm shooting for compensation in range of 275k-300k on 20-25 patients per day plus retention/sign on/student loan repayment in the Midwest. Is this realistic?
