Prenatal Exposure to Acid Suppressor Medications and Development of Ductus Arteriosus in Term Newborns
Conclusion PDA incidence in term infants in our population was greater than previously reported. PPI and H2RA are both antiacids with different mechanisms of action. The similar OR for exposure to one as well as the other, and the lack of influence of the initial exposure period, are compatible with bias.

However, these professors worked with only Jewish students on their theses. Trends in Emergency Department Admissions Due to Renal Colic in the Pediatric Population: A Multicenter Study

To ASLO or Not to ASLO: Utility of the ASLO Test in Dermatology
CONCLUSIONS: Although the applicability of ASLO for the spectrum of dermatological diseases remains unclear, our results enhance the practical relevance of the test. We showed a higher prevalence of positive ASLO tests in psoriasis and erythema nodosum cases and a lower prevalence in vasculitis. CONCLUSIONS: Being an ultra-Orthodox Jew was the single variable associated with a GAS carriage, which may be related to having many children at home and living in overcrowded areas.
