The Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group produces reviews that cover the prevention and treatment of a wide range of illnesses. These include cholera and their review on cholera vaccines was updated in January 2024. Additional therapies used with exercise therapy for hip or knee osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is the commonest type of arthritis and there are Cochrane reviews for many interventions that might be used to treat it. These were added to in October 2022 with a new review of the effects of using adjunctive therapies along with land-based exercise therapy for osteoarthritis of the hip or knee. Stopping or continuing anti-dementia drugs in patients with dementia
As well as examining the evidence for starting patients on drug treatments, Cochrane Reviews also look at the relative benefits of stopping or continuing once someone has started taking them. This is the case with a February 2021 review of the effects of withdrawing or continuing two common classes of drug treatment for people with dementia.
