Medicare B Rx Reimbursements
I was wondering if anyone could provide more information on how much Medicare B reimburses pharmacies for filling prescriptions of diabetic testing supplies, nebulizer solutions, and insulin for pumps. I have worked for a chain pharmacy for years filling these Rxs and just happened upon this article from 2013: [URL... Medicare B Rx Reimbursements (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Inpatient FM services, what's your census like?
In terms of total size and patients per patient along with patient complexity. We usually run 7-9 patients per intern here. Good number of zebras hit our census. Patient complexity is high and things like insulin drips, amio, etc we have on a daily basis. Curious what other programs are like in this regard. Not something I ever asked about on the interview trail. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

ASA status
Not the most important questions but I am curious as to what the community would give to these patients in terms of ASA score. ESRD, Diabetes type 1 insulin dependent I'm curious about above because some people give ESRD an ASA 4 simply due to ESRD, because dialysis is life saving. But the diabetic type 1 patient gets an ASA 2 even though insulin is life saving. Both diseases cause significant consequences later on in life. What are your thoughts? Otherwise healthy guy, bleeding cause he... ASA status (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Insulin doses
When calculating insulin carb ratios, do you do 500 ÷ TDD = units of aspart (Novolog®) or lispro (Humalog®) per 1g of carbohydrate or is it: 500 ÷ (0.5 x TDD) Reason I am confused is because I thought you only give 50% of the TDD as bolus, the other 50% is the basal dose (e.g. Lantus). Would be grateful if @Raryn could provide help (Source: Student Doctor Network)
