A young patient with Graves' disease presenting with a triad of heart failure, pancytopenia, and jaundice: A case report
We describe a case of a young man who presented with progressive cough, increased abdominal girth and ankle swelling for a few months. On examination, he had jaundice, bilateral exophthalmos, diffuse goiter, ascites, and significant lower limb edema. Laboratory investigations showed increased Thyroxin level with a suppressed thyroid stimulating hormone and positive anti-thyrotropin receptor antibodies. Prevalence of autoimmune thyroiditis among children with autoimmune hepatitis
ConclusionAutoimmune hepatitis in Egyptian children is commonly associated with other autoimmune diseases. Autoimmune thyroiditis is the most common to be associated with AIH in pediatric patients. Incidence of thyroid dysfunction caused by immune checkpoint inhibitors combined with chemotherapy: A systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSION: In TNBC, the incidence of hypothyroidism caused by the combination of ICIs and chemotherapy was significantly higher than that caused by hyperthyroidism. Pembrolizumab combined with chemotherapy resulted in the highest incidence of hypothyroidism. Frequency and characteristics of immune-related thyroid adverse events in patients with resected stage III/IV melanoma treated with adjuvant PD-1 inhibitors: a national cohort study
