Advice for next year's applicant?
Dear SDN,
I hope everyone is doing great especially people applying this cycle! Best of luck on app and interviews! SDN has helped so much in the past and I really appreciate all of your inputs!
So right now I am an international student at one of the top 5 public schools, it's my third year here in the states and I am planning on applying to med school (most likely MD/PhD) in the next cycle. I was just wondering what I can possibly do to strengthen my application before application...

Strongly considering leaving a good career for medicine
Hey all,
So as the title says, I'm thinking of making the switch to medicine. Currently I work for a health insurance company (one of the biggest in fact) as an actuary and have been in the industry for a few years.

MPH,PHD in public health. Will I match?
Asking for a friend. I an IMG, YOG would be 7 years this year. I have done MPH and PhD also on public health. Now trying to start USMLE. Lets say , I can finish everything by 2018, that will take me to 10 th YOG if I get matched. Please tell me hard ans clear, what are my chances? Should I start studying USMLE?
