Not a new grad by a long shot…Is 270K base plus a 30K guaranteed biannual bonus desirable compensation for a 30hrs/wk ER psych gig? Offered by an academic group and set in a county facility. High COL west coast metropolis, but gig is in a neighboring low COL, less populous county…less desirable for living (35 min drive).

Would it look bad on a resume to quit a full time job at CVS if you immediately start multiple PRN hospital positions?
So I work at CVS and hate the current situation I'm in at my store. Would it look bad on my resume to quit CVS and start multiple (2-3) PRN hospital positions? Yes, I'm aware they would not come with health insurance and benefits. There aren't any good full time options open right now. I am open to purchasing my own health insurance and I am good with budgeting so I am okay with a lower income for a time.

Full-time job and full-time post-bacc or quit and find part-time work?
In June, I quit my full-time job with the intention of getting part-time jobs in clinical research and scribing. However, shortly after I quit I was offered a full-time job in my original field (software engineering) and accepted it because the company is pretty chill and I should be able to balance the full-time work schedule with full-time school schedule. 1099 income, ballpark on taxes
Trying to figure out about how much I’d take home with a 1099 gig in florida. Could y’all help me?
500k 1099 income per year
I’d have to pay:
Health insurance (approx 25k per year)
Malpractice (approx 35k per year?)
401k (66k per year)
Figure these items are deductible and lower my taxable income to approx 374,000. Then I’m plugging this into an online tax calculator and putting 374k in as my 1099 income, my tax liability is about 105k. Is this about right?

I am lucky to be working in an upscale neighborhood but the pay is not upscale. 30% of collections but they cover malpractice and 50% of health insurance.

Hello! I’m deciding between CCOM and UQ-Ochsner for med school. Stats: 510 MCAT, 3.4 undergrad GPA, 3.79 grad GPA (MPH).
