SGU or AVC?
Hi everyone!! I am from the USA (recently moved to the southeastern part of the country) and got into veterinary school at the University of Prince Edward Island and at St. George’s in Grenada! I am not able to visit them in person before I have to decide and have scoured both of their websites and done the virtual tours and just can not decide which one to choose. SGU has a bit of a shorter flight and i am more of a warm weather person, but grew up near Chicago so I also am used to cold... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Technion or St George ’s University?
Hey y’all! I got into Technion’s American medical school in Israel and St George’s University in Grenada. I’m having a hard time choosing between the two based on academic reasons. Does anyone have any advice on what to do? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

SGU Grenada vs UK program?
Hi everyone, I am considering applying to SGU for the MD program. I've read old posts about the pros and cons of Grenada vs the UK program, however, I thought that some things might have changed since 2016, if any of you have done the UK program, would you please post some of the advantages and disadvantages of doing your first year in the UK? Also, what if you would like to do your second year in England as well? Can you do that? Thank you in advance, any information will be appreciated. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

SGU and Ross question
Hi everyone, this is my first post so please let me know if you spot anything wrong with this post. I just got accepted to SGU and Ross for January 2021 term and I do have a few questions for SGU and Ross students. I did see some threads created back in 2010-2018 but I just wanna hear from current students since things might be a bit different from back then. What do you think the pros and cons are at your school? Also, do y’all stay in Grenada/St.Kitts over the break? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Rocky Vista University (RVU) Acquisition by Saint George University (SGU)
I'm a first year student at RVU having just started this week. The president of RVU gave an announcement that RVU is being acquired by Medforth, which is the parent company that also owns Saint George University in Grenada. As many of you may know, SGU is the stereotypical Caribbean model for medical schools; ie high attrition low match rate. My fear is that the Caribbean model will be implemented at RVU and the education I receive will be changed for the worse. Now, my question is should I... Dorming in Grenada
Hello! I was accepted into the St George's Veterinary Foundation Program for Fall 2018. I am super excited my vet dream is coming true, but I am also very concerned about living somewhere so far from home. I live in the hustle and bustle of NYC and am used to 24/7 delis and having cheap good food. Cooking is also simple because every ingredient I can ever need is within walking distance. I visited Grenada before to see St. George's and I was surprised by how early places closed and how... Dorming in Grenada (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Moving to Grenada OR St. Kitts UPDATED please
Hi everyone! I've seen many posts about this but I would like UPDATED info from students who have attended more recently like 2015 or later. I haven't been accepted (yet) but I just want to be proactive and get all the information I possibly can! I saw a few things on google about shipping boxes and/or BARRELS down to either island through Amerijet. Has anyone had any experience with this? Also, do you suggest shipping a mattress OR mattress topper down to the island? ANY INFO helps. I am... Moving to Grenada OR St. Kitts UPDATED please (Source: Student Doctor Network)

SGU vs. Jagiellonian
Hi, I'm Canadian, have a 515 MCAT score and 3.5 sGPA. I have been accepted at SGU KBT program with a pretty good scholarship (1st year UK, 2nd year Grenada, 3+4 US/Canada rotations). For the type of medicine I want to get into, well, FM/Anesthesia or FM/EM or FM/Obstetrics all sound great. Anesthesiology would be the dream but it won't bother me so much if that doesn't work out. I'd always prefer to do my residency at UBC. I have also applied to Irish schools, but haven't heard anything... SGU vs. Jagiellonian (Source: Student Doctor Network)

International European medical student to US medical school
Hi guys, I would really like to hear your opinion here. I've studied 3 years of medical school in Europe being in the dean's list in every semester with a GPA of 3.81 (WES evaluated). I want to transfer into a competitive med-school and if needed I'm willing to start med school all over again. I want to have my residency and to practice in the US. I'm a non-US citizen/resident. Recently, I was accepted to St.George's university, Grenada for a dual degree MD/MSc... International European medical student to US medical school (Source: Student Doctor Network)
