TAB - anyone know what happens if we haven't completed one?
Arghhhh! I didn't do a TAB in my first rotation, I was one person short in my second rotation (I got caught out by the fact all the categories had turned green to show minimum of each achieved - but I didn't realise I was still one short!) and now in the third rotation there was a mix up with my job and I moved twice. The TAB opened when I started with my new team and now closed again in the space of 3 three weeks so I only had 5 replies. I can't believe it was so short. It was a least about 2 months last time! Does anyone know what happens if it's not done? I told my Foundation school that I didn't realise it was closin...

Gamsat - gradmed - gold standard - prep materials
Hi, I'm planning on taking the Sep. 15 Gamsat exam. Does anyone think it's too late to start preparing. I studied A level Biology but not Chemistry or Physics. Although, at GCSE, I did do well in both subjects. Would anyone care to share some advice on the best sources to prepare for this exam. Gradmed? Gold standard? etc. Also, does anyone have Gradmed notes for sale? Thanks :D (Source: New Media Medicine)

DAMS Delhi not satisfied
I joined DAMS in the October 2014 batch, with the hope that by joining early the course will be completed well in time before upcoming May exams. The batch was started on 19 th October 2014, with only 1.5 classes every week ( Saturday half day, and Sunday full day). By the end of December only four subjects were covered during which just 2-3 classes per week were taken. Then came January when the classes were increased to 3-4 per week. And now in march they are scheduling classes almost every day on the name of completing the syllabus and more importantly to free the space for new batches. They Say in their Booklets “Stud...

PG Medical Entrance Coaching
I am sharing The Experience which I had with DAMS…sadly, it wasn’t a good experience at all…. Here are the key points, details follow them…. 1. The classes are ill scheduled….not taking care of how the students will cover the things….at the end , when exams are approaching they keep classes too frequently , that it becomes difficult to even revise properly whatever is covered in classes because of exhaustive schedule….. Below, I have taken each of the issues in detail….. There is a wave in the market due to which all the ‪#‎PGMEE‬ aspirants are ending up joining DAMS for their PG Preparations. D...

BMAT Kaplan and Crash Course materials for sale
I have brand new copies of "BMAT Strategy Book" and "Big Purple Book of BMAT Practice Tests" by Kaplan (2014 Edition). These are the materials you are given when you sign up for Kaplan's live online course, for which I paid £305. KAPLAN strategy book lays out the strategy you should follow to be able to complete the exam within the strict time restriction and gives guidance on how to answer the essay question. KAPLAN Practice Test Book contains 5 full-length BMAT tests, and I found these very useful for putting the strategy into practice. I also have the BMAT Crash Course: Course Handbook from the...

Soldier to doctor- can it be done?
Hi everyone, I am here to seek advise/guidance or anything from anyone that's been through similar obstacles in pursuit of their ambitions in becoming a doctor. So a bit about me, I served in the UK Army for 10 years and served overseas on 3 separate occasions and during these tours was used as a team medic as well as my normal role.(not to be confused with a full time army medic). I did however have the opportunity to deal first hand with real trauma situations on a unfortunately frequent basis. Very early on i realised that a career in medicine is what i truly wanted to do with my life hence my journey now begins. To m...
