GAMSAT Materials
Hey there I've got GAMSAT materials up for grabs - I scored a 70, so even if I don't get in, I'm not bothered about taking the test again. I've got a number of different things: -Ozimed practice papers 1-10 -Kaplan MCAT revision books - the course is much the same, the material used in the US exam is perfectly sufficient (and in my opinion, superior) for the exam revision for the GAMSAT - it's also nice because it teaches it differently; so if you don't like the UK A level explanations, then it's a different angle to come at -Princeton Review Complete MCAT - in the same vein, for the MCAT but so useful to have a diffe...

GAMSAT revison and materials
Hi everyone I'm a newbie on here and yes i too have the dream of attending medical school to hopefully become a doctor. I'm currently in my final year of my social sciences degree and would like to get started on the GAMSAT very soon. Im not looking to apply to St Georges or Nottingham till September 2017, so my question is how much should i really be revising a day as from now, bearing in mind that i still have my undergraduate degree to finish off and will be starting an MSc this September. Also what materials should i go out to buy? Many thanks in advance and happy new year to you all! :) (Source: New Media Medicine)

Do medical schools ask for transcripts?
It is more than likely I will graduate with a low 2.i, around 63% not the best grade. My grades varied from a 82% to 42, horrible. Overall after calculating what each module is worth, 63% will be my final grade. Quite afraid of universities requesting transcripts, I may avoid those that do, I am aware that Warrick does not really care about the percentage of the 2.i as long as it is a 2.i. Any universities I need to avoid? (Source: New Media Medicine)

US citizen with UK undergraduate degree applying to US med schools?
I am a US citizen who decided to go to the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. In terms of career aspirations, I want to do medical research, perhaps at the CDC or in a university setting. From what I have read on this excellent forum, if I want a US medical degree, I should transfer to a US undergraduate program. But if I remain here (I love it here) and receive my undergraduate degree in molecular biology from the Univ. of St. Andrews, is there a path to US med school? And if so, what do I do about supplying US med schools with four years of college grades? St. Andrews does not report the first two years except on a ...

UK undergrad US national applying to US med schools
Hi. I’m a 2nd year BioNatSci at Cambridge thinking of applying for a US medical school. I’ve done MCAT (39) and got a first in my 1st year. There’s not a lot of information about applications from US citizen doing an undergraduate degree outside of US. Can anyone give me any further information about my eligibility to apply or any additional useful information about my application? (...my main worry being that a US BA takes 4 years while a UK BA takes 3 years). (Also I know some med schools require at least 1/2 year in a US institution. I understand that I can’t apply to those which clearly state that). (Source: New Media Medicine)

Question!
So just to give a little background about myself. I was homeschooled all my life. I graduated at the age of 16 and did a year in a community college where I got all A's. They were mostly my electives and English and Math classes that I took. My GPA was a 3.910 when I transferred to the four year school as a sophomore. My first semester I took the beginning Biology and Chemistry classes along with Physics. I got a B- in Biology and a B in Chemistry and an A+ in Physics. One other class I took, an elective, I got a B+ in. I'm scared that it seriously damaged my GPA. I want to get into Baylor School of Medicine in Texas which...
