Several Questions regarding AMCAS Course section
I'm currently filling out the course section of the AMCAS application and getting very confused.
First, I did a study abroad program in Ecuador. Classes were taught by teachers at Amuata- Spanish School in Cuenca Ecuador, which is not an official college; it's a school specifically created for study abroad programs. The teachers taught from my universities textbook and used my home professors homework/assignments/tests for grades. The grade for the class even shows up on my home...

Spanish
I am currently a sophomore in undergrad and am in 200 level spanish. I do not have time to major unless I study abroad in Ecuador next summer but I do not want to pay for it ($10 grand). I was wondering how much a Spanish minor would set me apart in my future applications and if it is worth it continuing on with it!? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Accepted students - what are you pre-matriculation plans?
I have been accepted to my dream school plus 2 others I would be very happy at (pending financial aid packages). As such, I have quit my job and on Wednesday I will be flying to South America! I will be in Quito, Ecuador for about 4 weeks where I will be volunteering at a hostel basically as a person to be around who can speak English. In exchange I get a free place to live and 3 meals/day. I will also be taking intensive Spanish lessons, something that is important to me before I begin...

Mother/Military Spouse/No family in the US.
Hello.....
As the title says, I am a mother, a military spouse in which my husband is going to be sent overseas (Maybe Hawaii for three years). I am also from Ecuador, meaning I have no family in the states.
I am looking for a great university that not only prepares me to be a great dentist, but also that is located in a place where I feel safe for my two kids.
Do you know of universities/surrounded areas where it will be safe for my babies?? One is three years old and the other is almost...
