Employment check standards
NHS Employers - Pre-employment checking seeks to verify that an individual meets the preconditions of the role they are applying for. There are six NHS Employment Check Standards that outline the type and level of checks employers must carry out before recruiting staff into NHS positions. They cover identity checks, criminal record checks, work health assessments, professional regulation and qualification checks, right to work checks, and employment history and reference checks. A new e-learning resources has also been produced alongside the standards.NHS Employers - guidance (Source: Health Management Specialist Library)

Future Treatment For Autoimmune Diseases
New digital health tech targeted to fight autoimmune diseases or their symptoms are diverse and creative. Hot Financial Mess
On July 14th me and my fellow librarians spoke on the webinar, Facilities and Personnel Management While Your Library is Closed, Open, Reopening or Somewhere In-Between. In that webinar one of the things I briefly touched up on was library budget and the impact from covid-19. So when we say we have no money, please know it is worse that the library has no money. We have no money means our funding agency, our institution and/or state literally has no money. The only way I can easily discuss it...
