I'm getting mixed information is there an ADEX requirement for 4-year army HPSP? I plan to do the 1-year AEGD program.

Heartland School of Dentistry (HPU Workman)
This is just a reminder that this school is going to be entirely owned and run by the largest DSO in the United States Heartland Dental with over 1700 offices. This is where dentistry is going. Corporate omfs straight out of residency?
Just curious if anyone has worked for a corporation straight out residency and is willing to share their experience, contract #s, location. I wanted to start my own place right out while working corporate.
Also, were there any issues with board certification after if one was to not take trauma call/be affiliated with a trauma center of any kind and just be involved with a community hospital?
I'd appreciate the insight.

Dental school toxic?
Is it just me or is dental school extremely toxic? Administration, certain faculty, patients that don’t care to show up to appointments, that don’t value your services, etc. So many people think they’re godlike dentists when they probably were very average or terrible with the public outside of school. I am a Minnesota resident and was invited for an interview at Minnesota School of Dentistry via email on 8/10/2023. I interviewed on 9/7 (the first day of interviews), but have not heard back from any of the OOS schools that I applied to yet. Should I be worried?

2nd career after private practice
I am going to be turning 50 soon and feel like I might want to try something else other than private practice. It would be great to hear from docs that have been in my shoes and then went on to try something else and it really worked out well for them; Some thoughts I have are - Law, MBA etc. Please advise. Wyckoff Heights Dental Anesthesiology program
Long time follower first post. Here goes. Does anyone know anything about the Wyckoff Height Dental Anesthesiology program? On the pass search engine the deadline for application was this past march (3/1/2011) and the link to the website does not work. This deadline can't be correct PASS comes out in May. D4 HPSP student- Dental anesthesia
Hello,
I'm not sure what to do. I don't think I want to be a general dentist. I really enjoy medicine and I think dental anesthesiology would be a great fit for me. However, I have a 4 year commitment to the military. This is a great opportunity and I'm sure I'll have some great experiences. When to ask for a raise as an associate?
I just finished my 1st year as an associate and I’m thinking of asking to raise my daily income from 30% of adjusted production to 32%.

Staying motivated during D1?
D1 here, about 2 months in. Feeling that midterm vibe. Is it normal to be somewhat bored/disillusioned during D1 year?
All this didactic coursework just feels droning. Even though we have lab and work on waxing so much, I just am not feeling connected to dentistry. Not a big fan of gross anatomy, it's just like why do we have to know this as a dentist, and so much work for that class.
