Orthofix (NSDQ:OFIX) yesterday put black ink in the ledger for the fourth quarter and beat the consensus forecast as it contemplates moving its corporate registration from Curacao to the U.S. The Lewisville, Texas-based orthopedics company posted profits of $1.6 million, or 8¢ per share, on sales of $116.9 million for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2017, compared with losses of -$3.2 million on sales growth of 7.7% over Q4 2016. Smith & Nephew mulls 100-worker Ft Worth expansion
Smith & Nephew (NYSE:SNN) is considering an expansion to its Ft. Worth, Texas facilities that would add an additional 100 jobs, according to a Star Telegram report. Smith & Nephew is seeking a tax abatement to aid in its expansion, with Ft.
