Kitties who like sweet treats
As Thanksgiving approaches and I begin gearing up for the holidays, my mind returned to a question I've had for years. I've always been told that cats can't taste sweetness, and so don't like candy or other sweet treats. However, I've had a few cats who enjoyed sweets, including one with a particular fondness for the sugar cookies I usually make around Christmas time. He also enjoyed chocolate cake which he's no longer allowed to have once I learned that chocolate is... Kitties who like sweet treats (Source: Student Doctor Network)

How do you guys study?
Hey so I'm in the midst of memorizing a cookbook on how to make some delicious triple chocolate chip brownies. I've employed some of my old study techniques in an attempt to memorize each step to a tee, but it's not working so well. The recipe is about 2 and a quarter pages long in size 11 font, and I'm guessing the text is in Helvetica, but I'm not too sure. Anyways, I've made a few quizlet decks to map out each step but the process is awfully time consuming and the brownies have already... How do you guys study? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

referral acknowledgements
Starting to form some good referral resources. I am planning to write thank you letters to them all as well as more of my cards. But is there anything else you recommend doing to continue fostering the relationship without coming across was too eager/desperate? Do I send them roses? Chocolates? Hugs and kisses? Anyways, I was thinking of mentioning that as expression of my thanks, I would try to get their clients in sooner, typically seen within two weeks. Or maybe I could offer to meet for... referral acknowledgements (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Your opinion of a right-sized gift for a professor?
I live in Boston and would like to give my professors a thanks for teaching me gift. Anyone have ideas about what would be an appropriate non-awkward price range or category of gifts? I'm thinking chocolates, but nice ones, very nice ones. Please warn me about pitfalls and give your opinion of what would work (even if it's not chocolates). Please assume I lack creativity and have no talent for decorating or crafts. (Source: Student Doctor Network)
