DAT Experience after two Attempts with Bootcamp and Booster
Hey everyone! Hope the studying endeavors are going well! I recently took the DAT for the second time and wanted to share my experience in the hopes of helping anyone who might be struggling with the daunting process that is the DAT. A little background on myself. I graduated after the fall semester of 2022 with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry and had a cumulative gpa of ~3.5. It was not until after graduating that I decided I wanted to pursue dentistry so preparing for the DAT... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

KYCOM vs LMU-DCOM
Looking to likely pursue emergency medicine to match in the NJ/NYC area. LMU is easier to get back home from, but have heard some negative things about the school. Also like that it's closer to a big city, and I have family nearby. KYCOM is very isolated, harder to get home from, and I noticed the match primarily in the southeast. However, I have not heard any negative things about academics there. Really having trouble deciding. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Officially Taking A Biochem Course
I have a professor at my university who has a C- average for his Biochem course and he has a 1.8 star rating on rate my professor. I was wondering if it's worth it to audit the course instead so I don't get a grade that would affect my GPA because I already have a bad grade on my transcript. Would med schools look at if I took biochemistry for an official grade? I took both Ochem classes and a gen chem class so I am finished with the chemistry track. I would not need biochemistry to...
