ATSU-SOMA vs VCOM-CAROLINAS
I live on the east coast Florida and got into VCOM Carolina’s as well as ATSU-SOMA. I don’t know which school to pick. It’s nice that at VCOM carolinas I’m not too far of a flight from home in Florida and I have cousins in North Carolina. At atsu soma I don’t really have any family support. However, my fiance lives in Chicago so rotations options being there seems really nice. VCOM's tuition - $49,800 ATSU-SOMAS- $64,700 ATSU SOMA- pass fail system but still ranked, cased based... Atsu-soma vs uiwsom
Hi Please help me decide! I’m currently leaning towards ATSU-Soma since it is more established a closer. But I’ve heard mixed things from both schools ATSU-SOMA ($67,000) Pros -Closer to home -More established with a high match rate -really good for family practice (I’m hoping to go into peds) -holo lens anatomy Cons -switching to 2-2 from 1-3 (transition period) so the curriculum can be considered unstable and rotation clinics can be sparse -rotation clinics are all over the country and... ATSU-SOMA vs. LECOM-B vs. PNWU
Hey y'all! I feel really blessed to say that I have a few options when it comes to deciding where I'll be matriculating in a few months. With that being said, I'm having a hard time weighing out my options and thought I'd come here for some guidance. For some context, I'm a CA resident and I'm heavily leaning towards Peds but a piece of me is also considering OB/GYN. I've gathered some info about each of the schools, but I'd really appreciate some more input from current students and/or... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

DMU vs. Touro-CA vs. ATSU-SOMA
Hi there! I'm an applicant from CA interested in going into FM/IM/Peds/Med-Peds. I've already put a deposit down for ATSU-SOMA as it was my first acceptance, but need to decide whether I should put down another deposit for DMU and/or Touro-CA. DMU Pros strong match lists and board scores (!!) one of the OG DO schools new campus strong ties to city for community engagement global/international health program is an option board style questions cheaper cost of... Atsu-soma
I’ve been accepted to ATSU-SOMA and I’m strongly considering it. However I’ve been hearing about all the pros and cons about it and the curriculum change. Is there a current 1st or 2nd year who can explain their experiences at SOMA ? And what the pros/cons of their experience has been? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

CHSU vs. ATSU SOMA vs. AZCOM
I was wondering if there are any current students or anyone that has any input on these schools since I'm unsure which school I want to go to out of the three. Here are my pros and cons list right now: CHSU Pros: 4 hours away from home; new facilities and technology; hear that admin cares about students and have been making changes to improve school; small campus Cons: new school and not fully accredited yet; no cadaver lab; requires you to take a cooking class which takes up... KCU (Kansas City Campus) vs ATSU SOMA
KCU pros more established, top DO school Better residency placements Normal lecture curriculum Liked the interview a lot Tuition is 10k less/year Better curriculum P/F grading KCU cons harder curriculum that’s more rigorous Scheduling is tough, more exams than ATSU Hard to get research and your preferred rotation site Hard to make your own rotations for your 4th year, have to rely on connections and the normal application online to get... Help me decide: Noorda COM vs ATSU-SOMA vs NYIT-Arkansas
I have been fortunate to have been accepted by these schools. I am interested in radiology, neurology, cardiology & GI. I understand these specialties (except neuro) are not DO friendly and was wondering which of these schools would be the best for achieving them? I was leaning towards NYIT-Arkansas or ATSU SOMA. Any advice appreciated. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

**URGENT** ATSU-SOMA v. NYITCOM-AR
ATSU-SOMA Pros Tucson CHC site which is also a residency location. Established school classes are not mandatory Cons They have not released board pass rates for the past few years. This is highly suspicious. Have heard some negative things about the school on reddit and on SDN Emphasis on primary care Cost of living is high Class rank and GPA NYITCOM-Arkansas Pros Have many dual degree options (MBA, PHD, MS) Cost of living is... SJB vs ATSU SOMA
ATSU-SOMA (DO) Pros: - they have affiliated clinics across the states and applicants rank them upon acceptance where they would go to entering M2. I got my first choice in a desired area where I would wish to practice - P/F grading - have family and friends in the area too - very small cohort once in clinic Cons: - tuition is about 60k SJB (MD) Pros: - lower tuition, about 45 k - The degree advantage for matching although I'd like to be more primary care Cons: - they grade with...
