Right-Sided Approach for Left Bundle Branch Area Pacing is Feasible and Successful
Conduction system pacing has gained popularity for bradycardia and cardiac resynchronization therapy indications. Left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) is a more straightforward technique with better long term outcomes compared to His bundle pacing.1 Conduction system pacing has traditionally been performed via left-sided (LS) sub-clavicular venous access, and only one study has reported a right-sided (RS) approach for His bundle pacing.2 There is little information on the safety, feasibility, and success rates of RS approach for LBBAP. Role of monocytes and dendritic cells in cardiac reverse remodelling after cardiac resynchronization therapy
Monocytes and dendritic cells (DC) are both key inflammatory cells, with recognized effects on cardiac repair. However, there are distinct subsets of monocytes with potential for beneficial or detrimental effe... (Source: BMC Cardiovascular Disorders)

Long-term outcomes from upgrade to cardiac resynchronisation therapy in ischaemic versus non-ischaemic heart disease
CONCLUSIONS: Upgrade to CRT might improve heart failure symptoms and left-ventricular systolic function in the long-term, irrespective of underlying ischaemic or non-ischaemic heart disease.PMID:37961770 | DOI:10.1080/00015385.2023.2277624 (Source: Acta Cardiologica)
