Brow reduction, reshaping and suspension by a 20-degree beveled brow incision technique
Brow and forehead rejuvenation surgery focus on tissue laxity but not on brow fullness. Recently, a systematic review on contemporary techniques for brow and forehead rejuvenation revealed no superior outcome by performing either an endoscopic brow lifting or an open coronal approach (pretrichial or trichial hairline incision). Dysesthesia and lesion of the frontal nerve were mentioned as possible complication (Graham et al. 2011). The major concern about direct brow lift is the potential unpleasant scaring. An aesthetic approach in the repair of anterior frontal sinus fractures
The management of upper facial trauma is a common responsibility of surgeons taking care of maxillofacial injuries. Historically, the most commonly used surgical approach has been the bi-temporal (coronal) incision. As is well known, the coronal incision carries some inherent complications such as hair loss, long scars, and increased length of hospital stay. The purpose of this article is to describe an aesthetic approach, similar to an endoscopic brow lift, for the repair of anterior wall fractures of the frontal sinus without the need for long incisions or fixation devices. The Quantitated Internal Suture Browpexy: Comparison of Two Brow-Lifting Techniques in Patients Undergoing Upper Blepharoplasty
Conclusions: Upper blepharoplasty alone is associated with brow descent; performing ISB simultaneously effectively prevents this descent. Endotine browplasty with upper blepharoplasty achieves significant brow elevation. Quantitation of the browpexy allows reproducible placement of the suture thereby producing consistent and symmetrical results. (Source: Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery)

Brows Asymmetry Correction With the Direct Approach: Myth or Reality?
Conclusions: The paired sample test demonstrated that direct brow lifting is a proper surgical technique to correct brow asymmetry. Also temporal (ie, indirect) approach is able to ameliorate brow asymmetry but direct technique provide better results. The direct brow lifting is a reliable, reproducible and safe surgical procedure, provides excellent and long-lasting results, and is very efficacious in brows asymmetry correction. Endoscopic Browlift in the Receding Hairline Patient
This report describes the case of a 67-year-old man with a receding hairline that was referred for brow ptosis and upper eyelid dermatochalasis. An upper eyelid blepharoplasty and an endoscopic browlift were performed. Incisions were placed in the temporal region bilaterally, as well as a single central incision placed in the anterior hairline. Two small horizontal incisions were placed in forehead crease lines for placement of the anchoring pins. This technique allowed for ease of dissection and resulted in inconspicuous scars. There was no elevation of the hairline; the brow was examined to be at a normal position at the...
