Botox has another side effect - relieving anxiety
While Botox remains the No. 1 cosmetic procedure for women seeking a more youthful appearance, researchers say the injectable may actually have another surprising benefit: reducing anxiety.
A recent study by University of California San Diego found that anxiety was 22 to 72 percent lower in patients receiving Botox treatments for both cosmetic use and treatment of neck spasms and migraines.
