Proper PLS logging
I could use some wisdom on proper logging for this procedure in PLS:
Performed cheilectomy and implanted arthroflex graft over metatarsal head which is anchored into bone. This is the technique guide: https://www.arthrex.com/es/recursos...arthroplasty-with-arthroflex-dermal-allograft
Unsure if I should be logging just cheilectomy or if this is sufficient for implant. Thank you all for your wisdom.

Periodontitis
Hello!
I just had a quick clinical question which has been in the back of my mind while treating patients in dental school.
Several of my patients with periodontitis asked me this question: "Can you not use bone graft to grow my bone and gum back?", and in fact I was curious about this too. What can and cannot bone grafts do? What are its limitations?

Lost battle with the SIJ
A lost battle with my arch nemesis the SI joint today. Very petite 82 year old with osteoporosis s/p L4-S1 PLIF with transitional anatomy manifesting as lumbarized S1. Old fashioned right side iliac crest bone graft harvest scar. Right buttock pain. Weight bearing LS spine x-ray showing right SIJ and axial MRI image showing only cross sectional view of SIJ. Compression fx/vertebroplasty question
Hey forum, weigh-in on this:
83 y/o F with new L5 compression fracture from 2 months back (30% superior endplate compression) with fracture lines that extend into the bilateral pedicles, L>R.
I want to fix this thing, but she also has history of L4-S1 posterior fusion with bone graft (fusion done in 1975) going right over the pedicle shadow. Hard to make out any definable anatomy needed on left, but I do see my landmarks on right.

10 months Post ACL, What just happened!...
Hi, 48 y.o. dentist here who likes to snowboard and do jiu jitsu. I had ACL allograft reconstruction in May of 2018. Rehab went pretty well with some behind the patella pain while going up stairs.
