Best ways to get referrals from y'all?
I'm a psychiatrist and potentially starting a private practice from 0. Would take major insurances, some Medicaid, no Medicare. Open to seeing pretty much anything other than ASPD/long criminal histories, but would like to keep substance use disorders to a minimum. Happy to see eating disorders, functional problems, ADHD, autism evals, in addition to the basic depression and anxiety.

Job offer
I work independently through my LLC and do autism evaluations and counseling, mostly with neurodivergent folks. The last few years, I’ve been working from my home office doing things via Telehealth.

Taking care of special needs sister
I had to take care of my severely autistic sister for essentially two years after high school while enrolled at community college and working about 30 hours a week. Autism be outta control. We have shut down all external referrals and made a waiting list. Just yesterday, I basically told a parent who had been on my schedule since april that they shouldn't drive from three hours away because their AP student's therapist think they might have a touch of the 'tism.
