Prior Exposure to Experimental Preeclampsia Increases Atherosclerotic Plaque Inflammation in Atherogenic Mice
CONCLUSIONS: In atherogenic LDLR-KO mice, exposure to sFlt1-induced preeclampsia during pregnancy increases future atherosclerotic plaque inflammation, supporting the concept that preeclampsia directly exacerbates atherosclerotic inflammation independent of preexisting risk factors. Statin administration ameliorates ischemia-induced overactive bladder with improvement of blood flow and anti-inflammatory effects in rats
